Abuse in value

When we look at one another what do we see? In a society where we judge others based on skin color, material possessions, and job titles is our value of the ones around us based on what we see, or our needs? People are unlike any other living being known to mankind in the sense of emotion, spirit, intellect, and reason. The same divine characteristics that distinguish men from animals, insects, and sea creatures is what makes the human experience vital to the world. What do we see when we look at one another?

There is not one piece of material upon the earth that is meet in exchange to a human life. We value money because we believe that it purchases respect, attracts people, and makes us significant. However, we often overlook these same values in one another that we seek material gain for. The sprit, emotion, and intellect is what we miss from our love ones that are no longer with us. Meanwhile, money exchanges hands and does not leave a legacy worth remembering, it is used to determine self-worth. Any person that values another person based on money fails to understand heart, soul, and spirit of a man.
