Contact your Ohio Senator for Funding for youth programs

From the High School hallways to prison dorms juveniles are on the fast track to criminal records and unproductive lives. According to source from 2005 to 2016 Ohio prison population increased slightly above fifteen percent (Columbus Dispatch, 2016). Ohio in 2017 had twenty-six over populated prison and the number of inmates from generational trends continues to grow (ODORC, 2017). Data has supported strong correlations with poverty that is linked to crime. Another relationship that empirical evidence suggest that is continual is education that is linked to crime. Those that have less primary education are more likely to form illegal drug habits. According to Robert et al, 1992., Dropouts are more likely to be charged with illegal offenses, and be locked up in prisons, have a criminal record, and be less productive in life. Put in your zip code and email your Senator and ask them to stop funding prisons and let our children have funding to create alternative solutions that work! Visit us! References Robert T.
